THAI to Order 7 Boeing 747-400s from United Airlines

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited held the Board Meeting No. 2/2003 on Wednesday, 26 February 2003, at the Conference Room, 22 nd Floor, Head Office Building, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Khwaeng Lad-Yao, Khet Chatuchak, Bangkok Metropolis. The meeting has approved for the airline to proceed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding to purchase 7 Boeing 747-400 aircraft from United Airlines, pending consideration and approval from the Cabinet.

United Airlines’ 7 Boeing 747-400 aircraft consist of the following : 5 aircraft manufactured in 1998, 2 aircraft manufactured in 1997, equipped with 347 seats each and Pratt & Whitney engines.
