Thai Airways International Public Company Limited led by Mr. Chaisawasd Kittipornpaiboon, Chairman of the board of Directors; Thai Airways International Public Company Limited and Mr. Vorapravat Suebsaeng; Managing Director for Cargo and Mail Department; Thai Airways International Public Company Limited together with Mr. Kasem Jaliyawatwong; Thai Airfreight Forwarders Association, Mrs. Saowanee Boonpiom; President of Thai Fruits and Vegetable Exporters Association, Dr. Krizz Chantjiraporn; President of Thai Logistics and Production Society and Mr. Tana Sathorn, President of The Association of Thai Tour Operators signed a Memorandum Of Understanding for Strategic Partnership to promote the export of Thai agricultural products. Among the honored guests were Mr. Parkin Sommit; Advisor to Minister of Transportation, Mrs. Sunee Loungvichit; Secretary to Minister of Transportation, Mrs. Claudia Brillman; State of Rhineland Palatinate Representatives, Mr. Stefan Maxeiner; Frankfurt-Hahn Airport, Mr. Udo Preisser; Marketing Director and Dr. Pilastpong Subsermsri, Representative from the Strategic Partner Associations and Organizer Chairman.
Mr. Chaisawasd Kittipornpaiboon, Chairman of the board of Directors; Thai Airways International Public Company Limited said the signing of this MOU will develop the long term relationship among strategic partners on the expansion trends to promote Thai agricultural and perishable products to Europe continent.
Mr. Parkin Sommit; Advisor to Minister of Transportation explained that with the increase of fuel price resulting worldwide and cost of transportation, Ministry of Transportation under Thai government is concerned of the problem. Seeking for solution to help saving the nation is the proper management of logistics and supply chain. Therefore to support the plan, the strategic partnership collaboration program was initiated by Thai Logistics and Production Society along with Thai Vegetable and Fruit Exporter Society, Thai Airfreight Forwarders Association, the Association of Thai Tour Operators, THAI and Frankfurt-Hahn Airport. The strategic partnership is the starting point of the corporation program to promote Thai products to European countries in the best manner. |
