Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services Public Co., Ltd. (BAFS) was established in accordance with the Bangkok International Airport Development Plan of the Airport Authority of Thailand. Since the plan sought to improve and modernize the airport’s hydrant refuelling system to deliver fuel to the airport’s aircraft parking bay, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications in 1983 asked for THAI’s aid in conducting a feasibility study. The result was that on 22 November 1983 the Cabinet approved the formation of Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services Co., Ltd. or BAFS, to invest in and operate the facilities necessary to refuelling aircraft calling at Bangkok International Airport.

BAFS is the sole provider of aircraft refuelling services at Bangkok International Airport. Its suppliers are the world’s leading oil companies including the Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT), Caltex, Elf, Esso, Mobil Oil and Shell who supply BAFS with aviation fuel for storage and refuelling of airlines in accordance with clients' instructions. Since then, BAFS has been certified ISO 9002 compliant for its aircraft refuelling service performed in accordance with international quality standards. The management and staff of BAFS are determined to satisfy our clients by providing safe aircraft refuelling by focusing on three main objectives:
