Itinerary
Day 1: You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2: Head to the mountains in the morning, and visit Doi Suthep Temple. Then, return to the city and see other religious sites. An afternoon tour takes you to a village handicraft centre where you’ll see artisans weaving silk, carving wood and creating celadon, silver and lacquerware items. (B)
Day 3: Take a drive to the Mae Sa Elephant Camp, and watch these magnificent beasts of burden perform stunts, work at their jobs and bathe in the river. On the way back to the hotel, you’ll stop at an orchid farm. The day ends with a northern Khantok dinner and a traditional folk music and dance show. (B, D)
Day 4: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and time to yourself until airport transfer. (B)
