Itinerary
Day 1:
Drive to the Mae Sa Craft Village, then climb in a 4WD for a ride to the Nhong Hoi Royal Project Development Centre and a Hmong hilltribe village. A short forest trek brings you to a mountain vista for a BBQ picnic. Spend the afternoon back at the Mae Sa Village and enjoy the health centre and steam room or explore a traditional farm. (L, D)
Day 2:
After breakfast, head to an elephant training camp to watch them work, and ride through the forest on one’s back before the drive back to Chiang Mai. (B)
