Itinerary

Day 1: Auckland - Waitomo Caves -Rotorua
Arrive in Auckland, you pick up your car, then head for Waitomo Caves to see the glow worms. Continue through Waikato and the Mamaku Hills to the renowned Rotorua.

Day 2: Rotorua - Taupo - Napier
Take in Whakarewarewa geysers, and Paradise Valley Springs. At the Agrodome watch sheep trials. Drive through pine forests to Wairakei, Huka Falls and Lake Taupo. Spend a night in the seaside town of Napier. (B)

Day 3: Napier - Taupo
Tour Napier and nearby wineries. In the afternoon, drive to Taupo. (B)

Day 4: Taupo - Auckland
Return to Auckland.
