Itinerary
Day 1: Perth - Margaret River (280 kms)
Travelling south from Perth, your first stop will be the historic port of Freemantle. Continuing through the towns of Mandurah and Bunburry, Stuart Forest National Park and the lovely seaside resort of Busselton, you will reach Margaret River, centre for delightful excursions through forests, vineyards and to the desolate beauty of Cape Leeuwin.
Day 2: Margaret River
Spen the day to explore some of the countless scene wonders of this fascinating region, also
to visit some of the local wineries.
Day 3: Margaret River- Pemberton (180 kms)
South again, along the Bussel Highway, via Carridale and historic mill town of Nannup, the scenery is magnificent en route to Pemberton, an important timber town surrounded by karri and marri forests.
Day 4: Pemberton - Albany (200 kms)
The route today passes through the towns of Northcliffe, Walpole and Denmark, where great forests sweep down to the sea. Albany was Western Australia's first settlement, once a major whaling settlement and today popular for surfing and diving.
Day 5: Albany-Perth (410kms)
The return drive, via Mount Barket, Kojonup and Williams, passes through rich agricultural landscapes of fruit, sheep and cattle farms before arriving back in Perth.
