If you have 2007 expiring miles these must be redeemed by June 30, 2008. All remaining expiring miles will be deleted from accounts on July 1.

If your account does not contain enough miles for an Air or Upgrade Award, there are a number
of Awards requiring less miles to choose from.

• Spa Awards - at 8 spas in Thailand starting from 12,000 miles
• Hotel Awards - across 4 continents starting from 12,000 miles
• Magazine Awards - Thai lifestyle magazines and TIME or FORTUNE in English from 7,000 miles
• THAIShop Awards - model planes to luggage starting at 6,000 miles

Don’t forget, for your preferred Award you can always top up your account with a Mileage Purchase from 1,000 miles up to 30,000 miles per Award.

Accrual Changes
On July 1, 2008 these accrual changes take effect.

Miles can no longer be earned in booking classes G/V/W on international THAI flights.

Minimum 500 miles will no longer be earned with United, United Express and Ted. Actual miles flown will be earned on short haul flights operated by these carriers.

On June 1, 2008 these accrual changes take effect.

Stays with Mercure Hotels in Asia Pacific from June 1, 2008 onwards will earn 125 miles when paying qualifying rates. Qualifying stays with Grand Mercure in Asia and Novotel in Asia Pacific continue to earn 250 miles, while stays with Sofitel and Pullman worldwide earn 500 miles.

Stays will no longer earn Royal Orchid Plus with Meritus Hotels and Resorts or New Otani Hotels.

Beginning July 17, 2008 fly direct from Tokyo to Phuket on TG671 departing Narita each Thursday and Saturday at 10:00. Arrival in Phuket is 15:25, in time for a late afternoon swim and sunset on the beach.
