From Airport to Town

From BangkokAirporttothe City Centre
There are several ways to travel from Bangkok International Airport into Bangkok's city centre.  One of the most popular is the THAI Limousine Service which can speed you between the airport and points within Bangkok, as well as to and from Pattaya beach.  THAI offers limousine and minivan service (both air-conditioned) with full insurance coverage.

Also in the Terminal 1 Arrival Hall on the left-hand (south) end, are desks offering ordinary air-conditioned taxis to your hotel and other destinations.  After telling the clerk where you want to go, you will be given a ticket.  On arrival at your destination, pay the driver the amount on the meter plus a 50-baht surcharge as well as tolls, if you have chosen to ride the Tollway (recommended at rush hour).  The average fare is 200 baht.

In addition, there is a special Airport Express bus costing 100 baht that travels between the city and the airport along four main routes.  Marked bus stands are located just outside Terminals 1 and 2.

A counter in the Arrivals Hall sells tickets for air-conditioned mini-van service.  Located on the northern end of Phuket island, the airport is a 30-minute drive to Phuket town and most beaches.

HatYaiInternationalAirport
Private taxis are available for the 30-minute journey from the airport west to Hat Yai or east to Songkhla.
