Please note that a new International terminal opened in Phuket in Oct '16. For THAI travellers departing from Phuket, if you are flying on a domestic flight only to Bangkok, you need to check in at the old terminal. For travellers flying to Bangkok and then connecting to an international destination, you should check in at the new terminal. If you arrive at the incorrect terminal, there is a shuttle bus departing regularly to transport you to the correct terminal. The Rules in this Contract of Carriage constitute the conditions applicable to flights operated by us in which we transport or agree to transport passenger and their baggage, whether such flights are marketed by us or by another carrier. The Rules in this Contract of Carriage apply to tickets issued for our operated flights and these Rules are expressly agreed to by the passenger.
On some services we may have arrangements with other carriers known as Code Shares. This means that even if you have a reservation with us and hold a Ticket where our name or Airline Designator Code is indicated as the Carrier, another Carrier may operate the aircraft. If in case of a Code Share flight we are indicated as the carrier operating the flight, these Contract of Carriage also apply to such transportation. If such arrangements apply we will advise you of the Carrier operating the aircraft at the time you make a reservation.
For Code Share services on flights operated by another carrier, we are responsible for the entirety of the Code Share journey for all obligations to Passengers established in these rules. However, each Code Share partner has rules with respect to the operation of its own flights, which may differ from our rules for flights operated by us. Those rules are incorporated herein by reference and form a part of these Contract of Carriage.
The rules with respect to operations that may differ between us and our Code Share partners include, but are not limited to:
• Check-in time limits;
• Unaccompanied minors;
• Carriage of animals;
• Refusal to transport;
• Oxygen service;
• Irregular operations;
• Denied boarding compensation;
• Baggage acceptance, allowance and liability
For the rules and regulations of our Code Share partners, we refer you to their websites or your travel agency.
You should review the rules for flights operated by another carrier under a Code Share agreement and familiarize yourself with such things as flight check-in requirements and policies regarding unaccompanied minors, carriage of animals, refusal to transport, oxygen services, irregular operations, denied boarding compensation and baggage acceptance, among others.
For flights arriving at or departing from an airport located in the United States, our Contingency Plan For Extended Tarmac Delays will apply to your flight only if we operate your flight. If a Code Share partner or any other carrier operates your flight, that operating carriers tarmac delay plan will apply.
For Code Share services on flights operated by another carrier, disabled passengers who are unable to perform transaction of Web-based discounted fares for BKK-USA v.v. can contact TG through other channels e.g. by telephone reservation or counter sales and indicate that they are unable to use TG’s web site due to a disability.

GOVERNMENTS MAY REQUIRE YOUR CARRIER TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON OR PERMIT ACCESS TO PASSENGER DATA.
Passengers embarking upon a journey involving an ultimate destination or a stop in a country other than the country of departure are advised that the provisions of a treaty known as the Warsaw Convention may be applicable to their entire journey including the portion entirely within the countries
of departure and destination. The Convention governs and in most cases limits the liability of carriers to passengers for death or personal injury to approximately $10,000.
Additional protection can usually be obtained by purchasing insurance from a private company. Such insurance is not affected by any limitation of the carrier's liability under the Warsaw Convention. For further information please consult your airline or insurance company representative.
For most international travel (including domestic portions of international journeys) liability for loss, delay, or damage to baggage is limited to approximately $9.07 per pound ($20.00 per kilo) for checked baggage and $400 per passenger for unchecked baggage unless a higher value is declared in advance and additional charges are paid. Excess valuation may not be declared on certain types of valuable articles. Carriers assume no liability for fragile or perishable articles. Further information may be obtained from the carrier.
The times shown on this ticket or itinerary/receipt if applicable are the departure times of the aircraft. Check-in times, as advised by your carrier, or in the airline's timetable, are the latest times at which passengers can be accepted for travel, allowing the necessary time to complete all formalities. Flights cannot be held up for passengers arriving late, and no responsibility can be accepted in such cases.
The Montreal Convention or the Warsaw Convention system may be applicable to your journey and these Conventions govern and may limit the liability of air carriers for death or bodily injury, for loss of or damage to baggage, and for delay.
Where the Montreal Convention applies, the limits of liability are as follows:
1.There are no financial limits in respect of death or bodily injury;
2.In respect of destruction, loss of, or damage or delay to baggage, 1,000 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 1,200; US $1,470) per passenger in most cases.
3.For damage occasioned by delay to your journey, 4,150 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 5,000; US $6,000) per passenger in most cases.
EC Regulation No. 889/2002 requires European Community carriers to apply the provisions of the Montreal Convention limits to all carriage by them of passengers and their baggage by air. Many non-European Community carriers have elected to do so in respect of the carriage of passengers and their baggage.
Where the Warsaw Convention system applies, the following limits of liability may apply:
1.16,600 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 20,000; US $20,000) in respect of death or bodily injury if the Hague Protocol to the Convention applies, or 8,300 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 10,000; US $10,000) if only the Warsaw Convention applies. Many carriers have voluntarily waived these limits in their entirety, and US regulations require that, for journeys to, from or with an agreed stopping place in the US, the limit may not be less than US $75,000.
2. 17 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 20; US $20) per kg for loss of or damage or delay to checked baggage, and 332 Special Drawing Rights (approximately EUR 400; US $400-) for unchecked baggage.
3.The carrier may also be liable for damage occasioned by delay.
Further information may be obtained from the carrier as to the limits applicable to your journey. If your journey involves carriage by different carriers, you should contact each carrier for information on the applicable limits of liability.
Regardless of which Convention applies to your journey, you may benefit from a higher limit of liability for loss of, damage or delay to baggage by making at check-in a special declaration of the value of your baggage and paying any supplementary fee that may apply. Alternatively, if the value of your baggage exceeds the applicable limit of liability, you should fully insure it before you travel.
Time limit for action: Any action in court to claim damages must be brought within two years from the date of arrival of the aircraft, or from the date on which the aircraft ought to have arrived. Baggage claims: Written notice to the carrier must be made within seven days of the receipt of checked baggage in the case of damage, and, in the case of delay, within 21 days from the date on which it was placed at the disposal of the passenger.
The price of this ticket may include taxes, fees and charges which are imposed on air transportation by government authorities. They may represent a significant portion of the cost of air travel and are either included in the fare, or shown separately in the "TAX/ FEE/CHARGE" box(es) of this ticket.
You may also be required to pay taxes or fees or charges not already collected. The following notice does not apply to tickets sold in the United States for transportation originating in the United States.
Flights may be overbooked, and there is a slight chance that a seat will not be available on a flight even if you have a confirmed reservation. In most circumstances, if you are denied boarding involuntarily, you are entitled to compensation. When required by applicable law, the carrier must solicit volunteers before anyone is denied boarding involuntarily. Check with your carrier for the complete rules on payment of denied boarding compensation (DBC) and for information on the carrier’s boarding priorities.
Excess valuation may be declared on certain types of articles. Carriers may apply special rules for fragile, valuable, or perishable articles. Check with your carrier. Checked Baggage: Carriers may permit a free checked baggage allowance, which is set by the carrier and may differ by class, and/or route. Carriers may apply extra charges for checked baggage in excess of their permitted allowance. Check with your carrier. Cabin (Unchecked) Baggage: Carriers may permit a free cabin baggage allowance, which is set by the carrier and may differ by class, route, and/or aircraft type. It is recommended that cabin baggage be kept to a minimum. Check with your carrier. If more than one carrier is providing the transportation for your journey, each carrier may apply different rules on baggage (both checked and cabin). SPECIAL BAGGAGE LIABILITY LIMITATIONS FOR US TRAVEL: For domestic travel wholly between US points, federal rules require any limit on a carriers baggage liability to be at least US$3,300.00 per passenger, or the amount currently mandated by 14 CFR 254.5.
CHECK-IN TIMES. The time shown on the itinerary/receipt is the departure time of the aircraft. Flight departure time is not the same as the time you must check-in or the time you must be available for boarding. Your carrier may refuse your carriage if you are late. Check-in times, as advised by your carrier, are the latest times at which passengers can be accepted for travel: boarding times, as advised by your carrier, are the latest times at which passengers must present themselves for boarding.
For safety reasons, dangerous goods must not be packed in checked or cabin (unchecked) baggage except as specifically permitted. Dangerous goods include but are not limited to: compressed gases, corrosives, explosives, flammable liquids and solids, radioactive materials, oxidising materials, poisons, infectious substances, and briefcases with installed alarm devices. For security reasons, other restrictions may apply. Check with your carrier.
Credit card used for purchase of this electronic ticket and passport must always be
presented at the check-in counter except as followings :
• For Thai passenger travelling on the domestic flight, picture affixed identification card issued by Thai government (for adult) or student identification card (for child) may also be shown instead of passport.
• In case credit card holder has visited THAI office and paid cash or signed credit card sales slip, only passport or identification card must be shown.

Premium Economy/Economy Class : Two pieces of checked baggage ; The sum of the three dimensions shall not exceed 158 cms (62 inches) for each bag and the maximum weight per piece shall not be more than 23 kgs (50 lbs)

An infant who is under two years of age and not occupying seat is entitled to one checked baggage with a maximum dimension of 115 cms (45 inches) and a maximum weight of 23 kgs (50 lbs).
If your journey involves multiple airline partners, please be aware that baggage rules may vary. In some cases, the baggage rules that apply for your journey may be those of our partner airlines. Please contact your travel agent or our ticketing/reservation agent for further advice.
In addition to the checked baggage allowance, each passenger except infant under two years of age not occupying seat may carry, without additional charges, one hand baggage, provided that such carry on baggage shall have a maximum length 56 cm (22 inches), width 45 cm (18 inches), depth 25 cm (10 inches). These dimensions include wheels, handles, and side pockets. The overall weight of the carry on baggage must not exceed seven kg (15 lb).
The passengers are required to place their own carry on items in the closed overhead rack or under the seat by themselves.
In addition to the carry on item as above, following items are also allowed to be carried into the cabin without additional charges:
1.small handbag/pocket/purse provided that it has a maximum length 37.5 cm (15 inches), width 25 cm (10 inches), depth 12.5 cm (five inches), or the sum of the three dimension not exceeding 75 cm (30 inches), and the overall weight not exceeding 1.5 kg. (3.3 lb). Such item includes computer notebook.

Spot check may be performed against the test unit and/or weighing machine at the check-in counter and/or at the boarding gate to ensure that these regulations are complied.
THAI may refuse refund if application is made later than 90 days after expiry of e-Tickets for refundable e-Tickets.
