From 30 June 2018, all international departing flights will have restrictions in place limiting inorganic powders to volumes less than 350ml per passenger in the aircraft cabin.
These powders include items such as sand, salt, talcum powder, powdered cleaning detergents and some types of make-up.
Passengers are now only allowed to carry 350ml or 350gm of inorganic powder per person through the security screening point.

Customers booked to travel with Thai Airways International, either via a travel agent or online via thaiairways.com, are not charged any additional fees to request services such as special meals, wheelchairs or for seat allocation.
In some cases, some travel agents may impose fees for these requests and we recommend customers should check with the booking/ticketing agent for details of any fees charged and ask for clarification as necessary.

Mr. Anussorn Naksrichum, THAI Executive Vice President, Aviation Business Unit, said that in celebration of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 83rd birthday and to mark national Mother’s Day with passengers, THAI will serve Thai desserts on board for all passengers travelling to and from domestic and international flights. The Thai desserts are created by THAI catering chefs and are prepared from raw materials that are good for your health. The desserts are as follows:
Domestic flights on 12th August 2015:
- Royal Silk Class passengers travelling on outbound flights departing from Bangkok will be served Blue Jelly with White Cream Roll and will be served Leum Kleun dessert on inbound flights.
- Economy Class passengers travelling on outbound flights departing from Bangkok will be served Germinated Brown Rice with Coconut Cream and will be served Panacotta on inbound flights departing from Bangkok.
International flights on 12th August 2015:
Passengers travelling on all flights that operate during meal times will be served the following:
- Royal First Class passengers will be served Khao Tom Mad, Tako Sang-yod and Praline.
- Royal Silk Class and Economy Class passengers will be served Tako Sang-yod.
