THAI Launches First A380 Direct Bangkok Flights

July 1, 2015

Thai Airways celebrated the departure of the first direct A380 flight from Heathrow to Bangkok today with a party at Heathrow’s Terminal 2.

Passengers travelling to London on the TG910 A380 inaugural flight from Bangkok, were delighted to be greeted at the arrival gate by a group of Beefeaters and Guardsmen. Many "selfies" were taken and passengers commented on it being a wonderful introduction to the UK.

Those leaving on the inaugural flight/TG911, July 1 to Bangkok were given fresh orchid corsages and commemorative key rings to mark this special occasion at check-in. This, together with a performance of traditional Thai dance and music, created a wonderful party atmosphere.
