THAI once again put on a grand show at Heathrow’s T2 on Sunday October 25 to celebrate the re-introduction of a twice-daily option for passengers on the London-Bangkok route. The existing daily A380 flight is now augmented by THAI’s brand new Boeing 777 flying the airline’s TG917/916 slot. THAI thus will now be operating a twice-daily direct service between London and Bangkok from 25 October 2015 to 26 March 2016.
At 19.30pm on Sunday October 25 the THAI UK team, led by Mr. Wit Kitchathorn, General Manager THAI-UK and IE, greeted passengers checking in for the inaugural second daily flight. Special VIP guests attending the celebration were Mr. Teerasil Tapen, Direcotor UK, the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Minister Counsellor, the Royal Thai Embassy in the UK. A traditional Thai dance was performed creating a wonderful commemorative atmosphere.
