Thai Airways is proud to have been named one of the world's best airlines at the Telegraph Travel Awards 2017.
The national carrier of Thailand jumped five places on last year's ranking to make it into the paper's annual top ten poll, which is voted for by readers.
Ms. Nonthakorn Trakulpa, Thai Airways General Manager UK & Ireland, said: "We constantly strive to improve our high standards and it is particularly gratifying that the Daily Telegraph readers have recognised this in their poll. We are trully honoured to have been voted one of the best airlines in the world by those who have experienced our service.
The latest success comes after THAI picked up three prestigious awards at the Skytrax 2017 World Airline Awards.
The airline won World's Best Econmy Class, World's best Airline Lounge Spa and Best Economy Class Onboard Catering during a ceremony in Paris.
It is the third year in a row that THAI has won the Spa Facility awards for its Royal Orchid Spa at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport.
THAI also placed in the top three in two categories:
- World's Best Economy Class Airline Seats
- World's Best Airport Services
THAI is a founding member of Star Alliance and operates uninterrupted double-daily flights from London to Bangkok, flying the only non-stop A380 service between the two cities and an A350 service.
