As Heathrow Airport Limited will conduct unplanned testing of Heathrow’s baggage systems, THAI's planned move from London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 to Zone A of terminal 2 has been postponed from its initial date of 2 July until later in August 2014. Until the new move date, flights will be departing as normal from Heathrow Terminal 3.
This is to allow Terminal 2’s baggage systems to be further trialled and tested so that everything works as it should. Journey times will not be affected and the Company apologises for any inconvenience caused. THAI looks forward to welcoming passengers to the new Terminal 2 in the near future.
When all 23 Star Alliance member airlines have been phased into Terminal 2, it will be the first time ever that they all operate from a single hub. This will provide passengers with a seamless experience, providing shorter connecting time between flights. The terminal will also have more automated processes and common facilities than currently exists in any of Heathrow's other terminals, thus providing passengers more control over their journey.
Thai Airways check in area will be located in zone A at the new terminal.
