This Award is valid if your paid ticket shows a Star Alliance airline operating flight number, and if the booking class is eligible for upgrading.
This means on codeshare flights, which may be marketed by another airline, the operating carrier’s flight number must appear on your ticket. To redeem a Star Alliance Upgrade Award for yourself, or an Award Nominee, ensure that a valid ticket has been issued then contact THAI reservations world-wide.
State the sector on which you wish to upgrade and the reservations staff will determine the number of miles required and request your upgraded travel.
Upgrades are subject to availability. On confirmation your upgrade is stored electronically and accepted at check-in.
