Self Service Kiosk

To facilitate passengers with self-service, The 'Self Service Kiosk' are installed at nine domestic airports in Thailand, which are: Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi), Don Muang, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai , Phuket, Phitsanulok, Khon Kaen, Hat Yai and Krabi.

These machines provide two choices of self service: "Check-in" and "Mileage Checking” via user friendly touch screen from 30 minutes up to 12 hours prior to flight departure.

Self Service Kiosk Quick Guide

1. Select Language

Two languages are available for passenger to select: Thai or English

2. Select type of services

Kiosk provides two services: 'Check-in' or 'Mileage Checking'

3. Select “Mileage Checking”

If touch 'Mileage Checking' button, the below screen will be populated. Passenger has to enter 'ROP Member ID' and 'Pin Code', to check their mileage.

4. Select “Check-in”

If touch 'Check-in' button, the check-in methods screen will be displayed, which are:

• Enter the Frequent Flyer Number (Royal Orchid Plus or Star Alliance).
• Enter Booking Reference (Reservation Code)
• Swipe Royal Orchid Plus Card
• Swipe Credit Card used for the purchase of e-ticket via Telephone Sale or Web Sale.

Passenger can swipe the ROP Card or Credit Card to start check-in at this screen or touch the button to select check-in method.

5. Begin Check – in

5.1 Check-in by: 'Enter the Royal Orchid Plus Number'.

5.2 Check-in by: 'Enter Booking Reference'.

6. Select Passenger

For single passenger, name will be automatically selected by system. But for multiple, passengers have to select names by touching on the name list.

7. Check – in Completed

When passengers get the seat, it means the check-in is completed. Passenger can add frequent flyer number, change seat, cancel the checked-in seat or print boarding pass from this screen.

8. Print Boarding Pass

This screen will be displayed while boarding passes are printing. The boarding information and boarding pass image are displayed in this screen.

9. Thank You

When the printing is finished, the last screen will be displayed before go to the 'Select Language' screen.
