Security Screening Industrial Action at Sydney Airport

Due to planned industrial action by airport security screening staff on 16 October 2026, passengers travelling on THAI Airways flight TG476 from Sydney to Bangkok, scheduled to depart at 11:00 AM, may experience longer security screening times and possible departure delays.

Passengers are strongly advised to arrive at Sydney Airport early and proceed directly to security screening after check-in to allow sufficient time for airport formalities.

To facilitate passenger handling and minimize potential disruption, THAI Airways check-in counters will open early at 07:30 AM (Sydney local time).

THAI Airways is closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as necessary.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
