NAME FILLING INSTRUCTIONS (Online booking only)

This document outlines the essential guidelines for accurately entering your name when booking a flight with us, both domestically and internationally. Matching your name precisely across all documents (valid for minimum 6 months prior to departure date on international travel), including your booking and travel identification. Please note, this is mandatory otherwise there will be delays at check-in and/or refused boarding. Once your booking is completed, name change is not permitted.

 

Important Formatting Notes:

  • Avoid abbreviations (Jackson K instead of Jackson Korl) and special characters (- or ').
  • Spell out your full name in both fields.
  • These guidelines apply even if you have a middle name.

 

Multiple Name Formatting:

  • If you have both a first and last name (e.g., Jackson Korl), enter them separately in their designated fields.
  • Follow the same formatting rules as for single names (no abbreviations, special characters, etc.).

 

Double-Check for Accuracy:

  • Carefully review your name entries before booking to ensure they match your identification documents exactly. If your itinerary does not match your identification documents, please contact THAI contact center at (+66) 02 356 1111.
  • Inaccurate names can lead to significant inconvenience and travel disruptions.

NOTE

  • For regular booking, your first name and your last name must not exceed 48 characters in total.
  • In case adult traveling with infant, First Name and Last Name for adult and infant must not exceed 33 characters. When long name is found, only initial first name of infant is acceptable.
  • If last/family name of infant and accompanying adult is the same, last/family name of infant will be not counted.
