Thai Airways International has made some adjustments of flight schedules for Australia and across the network due to aircraft rotation and maintenance.

Customers booked with a travel agent should contact the travel agent for assistance.  For customers booked direct, THAI wil contact you to update your travel arrangements.

We appreciate your patience as we work through these adjustments.

 

Customers booked to travel with Thai Airways International, either via a travel agent or online via thaiairways.com, are not charged any additional fees to request services such as special meals, wheelchairs or for seat allocation.

In some cases, some travel agents may impose fees for these requests and we recommend customers should check with the booking/ticketing agent for details of any fees charged and ask for clarification if necessary.

Fees may apply for changes or corrections to ticketed bookings or for some specialist services.  Please call us on 1300 651 960 for information.

THAI Wins Three Skytrax Awards 2018

 

Mrs. Usanee Sangsingkeo, Acting President of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), received three Skytrax 2018 World Airline Awards as the World’s Best Economy Class, World’s Best Airline Lounge Spa, and Best Economy Class Onboard Catering. Also present was Mrs. Phakkhra Ruangsiradecho, THAI Executive Vice President, Aviation Business Unit, Mr.Wiwat Piyawiroj, THAI Executive Vice President, Commercial,
Mr. ChalermponKaewchinporn, THAI Vice President, Inflight Services, at the Skytrax 2018 World Airline Awards Ceremony that was held at The Langham Hotel, in London, United Kingdom.

Mrs. Usanee Sangsingkeo said that THAI, as the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Thailand, is proud to receive three top Skytrax Awards, which are as follows:  World’s Best Economy Class for the second year in a row, World’s Best Airline Lounge Spa for the fourth consecutive year serving Business Class and First Class passengers, and Best Economy Class Onboard Catering for the second successive year.  In addition, THAI ranked as one of the top 10 World’s Best Airlines, as well as Skytrax Awards for Best Cabin Crew in Thailand and Best Economy Class in Asia. These awards are the pride of THAI employees as recognition for excellent premium class service and international safety standards. THAI continues to further develop and improve its services for utmost customer satisfaction. 

World Airline Awards are the results of the Skytrax survey that was first launched in 1999 as the first worldwide, annual independent airline customer satisfaction survey.  This year’s awards are the results of surveys during August 2017 to May 2018 conducted amongst 20.36 million survey participants from 335 airlines. The Skytrax survey evaluates product standards and various airline services on all aspects of service-related excellence, beginning when passengers enter the airport through to inflight service, which includes check-in service, seat comfort and the passenger cabin, inflight meals and beverages, cabin crew service and inflight entertainment system. Furthermore, the Skytrax World Airline Awards is a global benchmark of airline excellence, and is described as “the Oscars of the aviation industry.”
