Saudi Arabia is the only Arab country with Red Sea and Persian Gulf coastline, tourist attractions, and unique architectural sites. With a robust economy and high per capita income, international travel is popular for Saudi Arabians especially Thailand owing to culture offerings, leisure activities, shopping, and medical services. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia's popular vacation town also known as the gate to Mecca, is home to tourist attractions such as King Fahad’s Fountain with maximum water reach over 305 metres, UNESCO world heritage ancient coral stone buildings and meticulous wooden lattice windows located in Al Balad which was Jeddah's 1970s oil boom era trade landmark, and a majestic view of 30-kilometer Corniche (Jeddah waterfront) next to the Red Sea illuminated with light from shops, restaurants, cafés, and pavilions. Apart from its romantic surroundings, this city is the gate to Mecca, Medina and other cities in the Middle East.
