THAI and THAI Smile Waive Ticket Change Fee on Domestic Routes as Songkran Cancelled

Mr. Nond Kalinta, Vice President, Sales, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), said that as the Government has increased COVID-19 preventive measures by cancelling  Songkran public holiday during 13-15 April 2020 that has been deferred to a later date, the Company has issued a ticket change fee waiver for passengers holding domestic air tickets for travel with THAI and code-share flights with THAI Smile  that were  issued before 19 March 2020 for travel during 1-30 April 2020.  The Company has issued the ticket change fee waiver out of consideration to passenger impact and in order to reduce risks in travel, congestion, and chances of infection.  Details are as follows:

1. Passengers may change their flights without a ticket change fee on the same route or reservation booking designator (RBD). Taxes and fare difference will apply if the chosen flight is overbooked.
2. Passengers may change their route without a ticket change fee; taxes and fare difference apply.
3. Passenger name change can be done only once with a 500 baht fee.
4. For group tour tickets, the deposit fee can be used later (within one year validity).
