THAI introduces Preferred Seats; available on all its international flights departing 27th July 2019 onwards.
Preferred seats in Economy Class are located at the cabin's front rows (commonly reffered to as "bulkhead") and in the emergency exit rows. These offer extra legroom, and earlier onboard service. Once tickets have been issued, passengers can now opt for a preferred seat prior to departure for a fee, which is based on distance flown and flight duration.
What's more? As part of the same facility, Royal Silk passengers also have the option of selecting Royal First Class seats for a fee on flights where a two cabin configuration is on operation. This applies to a few regional routes serviced with Boeing 747 aircraft, which have a seperate Royal First cabin but are not sold as such, including Bangkok to Chengdu, Delhi, Denpasar (Bali) and Mumbai.
For an even smoother experience, purchase your Preferred Seats through THAI Contact Center (+66) 02-356-1111 or at check-in counter. The service can also be purchased on board or through https://flightservices.thaiairways.com
on flight departing from Bangkok, starting from 15 August 2019.
