Flight to Singapore with Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL)


 

 

Eligibility
1)Travellers must fulfill the following basic criteria and conditions of the VTL (Air) to enjoy quarantine-free travel. Travellers not eligible for the VTL (Air) should explore other Safe Travel Lanes at the Travelling to Singapore page.
2)Travellers must be fully vaccinated with WHO EUL vaccines at least two weeks before arrival in Singapore. Unvaccinated travellers who are 12 and below in this calendar year can travel to Singapore via the VTL (Air) if accompanied by a fully vaccinated VTL (Air) traveller.
3)Travellers must hold an accepted proof of vaccination. Travellers must obtain vaccination certificates in any of the following formats:

Singapore:
a. Vaccination on the TraceTogether or HealthHub app
b. Vaccination certificate(s) issued by the Singapore Ministry of Health; or
c. a.c. For Long-Term Pass Holders or Short-Term Visitors with records in Singapore’s National Immunisation Registry, successful verification of their records on the Vaccinated Travel Pass (Air) application portal

Thailand: International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate issued by the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand

Travellers must:
• Have only travelled to / transited via any VTL (Air) countries/regions, Category I countries/regions (Macao, Mainland China, Taiwan), the European Economic Area (EEA), and/or Singapore, in the last 7 consecutive days before departure for Singapore.
• Arrive in Singapore on a designated TG VTL (Air) flight.
• Travellers are required to arrive in Singapore on a designated VTL (Air) flight. A VTP (Air) does not guarantee a ticket on one of the designated flights. Travellers are responsible for obtaining their own ticket separately.


Application for Travel under VTL (Air)

Singapore Citizens (SC)/Permanent Residents (PR)

All Singapore Citizens/PRs and unvaccinated children aged 12 and below in the current calendar year do not need to make any applications under the Vaccinated Travel Lane. However, SC/PRs must also comply with all the requirements stated in the VTL (Air) Traveller’s Checklist, failing which, the prevailing health control measures will apply, which may include serving a Stay Home Notice.

SC/PRs who are not vaccinated in Singapore are strongly encouraged to submit their overseas vaccination certificate in their health declaration as part of the SG Arrival Card submission, to be submitted within 3 days prior to the date of their arrival in Singapore. Please note that the physical arrival card (“white card”) is no longer accepted.

SC/PR travellers will need to present an acceptable proof of vaccination for verification at check-in and arrival immigration. You are strongly encouraged to self-verify your vaccination certificate prior to your trip by referring to the guide here. Those who are vaccinated in Singapore are not required to submit their vaccination certificates as their vaccination records are already captured in the Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) database.

Foreign Visitors (e.g Short-Term Visitors/Long Term Pass Holders)
Foreign visitors (Short-term visitors and Long-Term) pass holders must apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) online. VTP applications are open for travellers intending to enter Singapore 3 to 60 days after today. A VTP is valid for entry up to 13 calendar days after the traveller's chosen date of entry. Children aged 12 and below (as of calendar year) do not need to apply for a VTP.

Long-Term Pass Holders (excluding Work Permit holders) do not need to apply for a VTP Air.

Please note the following when making the application:
• VTL (Air) travellers must also refer to this travel checklist and the VTL (Air) conditions to ensure they satisfy all VTL (Air) requirements, otherwise they may be denied entry to Singapore.
• Accompanying children aged 12 and below and are unvaccinated do not need to apply.
• Applications must be supported with digitally verifiable vaccination certificate QR code(s), if required. Please see our FAQs for more details.
• A VTP is valid for 13 calendar days from the traveller’s chosen date of entry.
• If you encounter an error upon uploading the QR code on your vaccination certificate onto the VTP application portal, please write to the Safe Travel Office using the enquiry form here and provide your vaccination certificate.
• Travellers are required to arrive in Singapore on a designated VTL (Air) flight. A VTP (Air) does not guarantee a ticket on one of the designated flights. Travellers are responsible for obtaining their own ticket separately.

Test and Requirements
Travellers who are eligible for VTL (Air), and have obtained their Vaccinated Travel Pass if needed, should refer to this VTL (Air) traveller checklist for the full list of requirements to complete VTL (Air) travel.

Travellers arriving Singapore, will need to undergo the following COVID-19 tests:-
• Pre-departure COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test or professionally administered Antigen Rapid Test (ART) taken within 2 days before departure for Singapore
• On-arrival, Unsupervised self-administered ART using self-procured authorised ART kits within 24 hours of arrival in Singapore. Travellers are required to report their test result via https://www.sync.gov.sg before proceeding with their activities in Singapore. 

Fully vaccinated recovered traellers may qualify for exemption from COVID-19 tests. Please refer to this page for more information.

-All short-term visitors travelling to Singapore under VTL (Air), must purchase a suitable travel insurance with a minimum coverage of S$30,000 against COVID-19 related medical charges.
