Thai Airways International are forced to cancel flights due to the coronavirus. Several flights on THAIs flight map have been forced to cancel. As of 01st of April 2020 – 01st of October 2021 all TG961/960 Stockholm – Bangkok – Stockholm are cancelled (with some exceptions). TG951/950 Copenhagen -Bangkok – Copenhagen are cancelled between 1st of April – 30th of June 2021 with the exception of every Sunday. After 01st of July the flight will be operating three days a week.
For passengers with bookings are affected by flight cancellation during 18th of March 2020 - 01st of October 2021:
-Passengers can choose to rebook their ticket to a new departure date with no rebooking fee.
-Passengers can choose to extent their ticket validity.
-The flight needs to be completed by 31st of December 2022.
-Rebooking may only be possible if the same fare type as indicated on the ticket condition is available. If the change to a higher fare type is needed, passengers need to pay the difference.
-Passenger can choose to fly via another destination in Europe. The fare difference is paid by the passenger.
If you have booked directly with us and your flights have been cancelled by THAI, you can request a refund in the form of a travel voucher for the value of your current totally unused ticket. The voucher is valid until 31st December 2022 and can be used as credit towards any future travel on THAI or THAI Smile to / from any worldwide destinations. Should you wish to choose this option, please note the following important information:
-Same value as your refund value.
-Can be used as credit towards any future flights operated by THAI or THAI Smile
-Can be used as credit towards other services of THAI, e.g. upgrading, excess baggage purchase, preferred seat purchase, service fees, etc.
-Valid until 31 December 2022.
-Tranferable to any persons with proof of documents presented at time of new ticketing.
-THAI reserves the right to change terms and conditions without prior notice.
- Passengers can choose to cancel their booking with full refund. Please email reservation@thaiairways.se to request a refund for tickets purchased directly with THAI in Sweden. Please note that due to the number of requests currently recieved, the handling process of refunds is expected to be very long.
-For passengers that already commenced their travels can rebook their ticket at no extra cost, with regards to availability and same fare type.
-Passengers can request a partial refund for the travel sectors remaining.
-Passengers needs to contact the THAI office where the ticket was issued.
- Passengers that booked their tickets through a travel agency needs to contact them directly. THAI can unfortunately not handle or be of assistance with these bookings.
