Updated on 31th of July concerning flight TG951/950 Copenhagen - Bangkok - Copenhagen which is cancelled until 30th of September 2020.
Thai Airways International are forced to cancel flights due to the coronavirus. Flights on THAIs entire flight map have been forced to cancel. As of 01st of April 2020 – 24th of October 2020 all TG961/960 Stockholm – Bangkok – Stockholm are cancelled. TG951/950 Copenhagen -Bangkok – Copenhagen are cancelled between 1st of April – 30th of September 2020.
For passengers with bookings issued on/before 25th of March 2020 and are affected by flight cancellation during 18th of March 2020 - 24th of October 2020:
-Passengers with tickets between 01st of June – 24th of October from Stockholm to Bangkok or Bangkok to Stockholm have had their tickets rebooked and will now show with departure city or arrival city from/to Copenhagen instead of Arlanda, Stockholm.
-This is due to a technical issue caused in Bangkok.
-Our flights are still cancelled as previously announced and our passengers still have the right to claim refunds. The new tickets can be used if the passengers wish to travel to/from Copenhagen instead. The transportation cost to/from Copenhagen is paid by the passenger
-If you booked via a travel agency, please contact them so they can contact Thai Airways to refund the ticket.
-If you booked directly with Thai Airways, please contact us directly with the original ticket number for refund.
-Passengers can choose to rebook their ticket to a new departure date (after 24th of October 2020) with no rebooking fee.
-Passengers can choose to extent their ticket validity.
-The flight needs to be completed by 31st of December 2021.
-Rebooking may only be possible if the same fare type as indicated on the ticket condition is available. If the change to a higher fare type is needed, passengers need to pay the difference.
-Passenger can choose to fly via another destination in Europe. The fare difference is paid by the passenger.
-The rebooking must be requested by the 24th of October 2020.
- Passengers can choose to cancel their booking with full refund. Please email email@example.com to request a refund for tickets purchased directly with THAI in Sweden. Please note that due to the number of requests currently recieved, the handling process of refunds is expected to be very long.
-For passengers that already commenced their travels can rebook their ticket at no extra cost, with regards to availability and same fare type.
-Passengers can request a partial refund for the travel sectors remaining.
-Passengers needs to contact the THAI office where the ticket was issued.
- Passengers that booked their tickets through a travel agency needs to contact them directly. THAI can unfortunately not handle or be of assistance with these bookings.
