The global spread of COVID-19 is closing national borders as countries around the world fight to contain the spread of this coronavirus. With plunging passenger demand and border closures many airlines are temporarily suspending operations.
In compliance with current border protection policies by the Royal THAI government, THAI and THAI Smile suspended all flights during 25 March – 31 May 2020. However, currently all domestic flights in Thailand are operating as normal by THAI Smile.

Irregularity flights:
If your current award flights have been cancelled by THAI or THAI Smile (only ticket no. 217...), you can process ticket cancellation either through the online channel on THAI website or by contacting THAI reservation staff.

- The online channel is available for THAI and THAI Smile operated flights only. For flights operated by Star Alliance airlines, please contact THAI reservation staff.
- Only tickets start with the number 217 are accepted.
- Reservation changes and ticket cancellation must be done before the original travel dates and within ticket validity without fee.

If you cancel or change flights which operated or still operate normally on schdule, the below service fees will apply on total unused and valid tickets only.

Expiring miles extension
Members who have expired miles in the year 2020, 31 March 2021, and 30 June 2021, those miles are extended until 31 December 2021.
Validity extension for Platinum and Gold Awards 2020 and Complimentary Upgrades
For Platinum and Gold members who have not used the Complimentary Upgrades and Awards 2020 before expiry date of card status, currently these rights can be requested until 31 December 2020.
