Mr. Suttichoke Rodleechit (fifth from left), General Manager, Republic of Korea, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), received the Bronze Prize for the Travel Agent Friendly Airline Award from Korea Association of Travel Agents (KATA) on behalf of the Company from Mr. Yang Museung (fourth from left), President of KATA, at the award ceremony that was held at Lotte Hotel, in Seoul, Korea. Also present were Mr. Kim Seongsu (first from left), General Manager for Korea, Delta Airline, Mr. Cho Joongseok (second from left), Executive Vice President, Regional Headquarters, Asiana Airlines, Mr. Chae Jonghun (third from left), Managing Vice President, Regional Headquarters, Korean Air, Mr. Son Jeongsu (sixth from left), General Manager for Korea, Japan Airlines, and Mr. Lee Young (seventh from left), General Manager for Korea, Air Canada.
KATA began granting airlines these awards in 2015 in order to link airlines and travel agents together in order to achieve the best mutually beneficial situation. Award criteria was based on the level of travel agents’ satisfaction and quality of services rendered to customers in various areas of the airline’s service provision.
