  Clothing : Light, loose clothing is recommended in the hot season. During the cool season in Hanoi and the hills a sweater or light jacket will be required.

  • A 30-day visa is issued by travel agents around Asia.
  • No vaccinations required but African and some South American visitors need yellow fever certificates. Vaccinations against Japanese encephalitis and tetanus, and anti-malaria medicine are recommended if travelling to remote jungle areas.
