Thai Airways Japan(TG) Launches PR for Oslo Route via Bangkok with Oslo Coverage Tour. Thai Airways hosted the travel-focused popular YouTuber, CHIERU travel in a skirt (@skirtchieru) for a reporting tour of Oslo, the capital of Norway, as part of network promotion using Bangkok as a hub. 

The tour was conducted in cooperation with the Norwegian Tourist Board (Visitnorway.com) and Oslo City Tourism Board (Visitoslo.com). Departing on Narita TG677 (17:30) on 11 September, the participants connected in Bangkok on TG954 (00:05) and arrived in Oslo at 07:05. The itinerary featured a smooth connection and the advantage of sightseeing from the morning of arrival, covering four nights and seven days.

During the tour, CHIERU used the "Oslo Pass," which includes fares for trams and entrance fees for museums, to enjoy a flexible travel style. The itinerary included Akershus Castle (a medieval fortress known as one of the inspirations for the movie "Frozen"), the National Museum of Norway, the newly renovated Munch Museum, and Vigeland Sculpture Park with over 200 sculptures. The trip also featured the Oslo Fjord Cruise for spectacular views and the trendy Fjord Sauna. In addition, CHIERU experienced authentic Norwegian cuisine and cafe culture and met professional ballet dancer Nae Nishimura Skaar from the Norwegian National Ballet, gaining a special opportunity to tour the Opera House.

Videos showcasing the trip will be released over two weeks on CHIERU’s YouTube channel, "CHIERU Travel in a skirt" starting in early October, including scenes highlighting the Royal Silk Class service used from Narita to Oslo.
