In order to respond to fluctuations in aviation fuel prices in the market, Thai Airways International (TG) has established a special fuel surcharge, which is charged at the time of ticket issuance.

In light of the continued escalation of aviation fuel prices, which have significantly exceeded the levels initially projected, we have decided to revise both the effective date and the applicable amount of the fuel surcharge. We are currently in the process of submitting the requisite application for approval to the relevant aviation authorities.

Accordingly, the following conditions will apply to tickets issued on or after Jul. 1, 2026 (subject to government approval).

Accordingly, the following conditions will apply to tickets issued on or after May 1, 2026 (subject to government approval).

Thai Airways International (TG) will be closed at all Japan offices (including　parts of our contact center services) from 29 April 2026, and 01 May to 06 May 2026.

For tickets issued between Apr 1, 2026 and May 31, 2026, the fuel surcharge for flights departing from Japan to Bangkok will be applied as follows.

For tickets issued between Feb 1, 2026 and Mar 31, 2026, the fuel surcharge for flights departing from Japan to Bangkok will be applied as follows.

For tickets issued between Dec 1, 2025 and Jan 31, 2026, the fuel surcharge for flights departing from Japan to Bangkok will be applied as follows.

Starting November 3, 2025, at 12:00 noon (Japan Time), emergency exit seats will be available for Pre-purchase.

Previously, these seats could only be requested at the airport check-in counter. From November3, THAI passenger who is match with condition of comply with emergency exit seats, can purchase emergency exit seats during your booking process.

Thai Airways International would like to inform customers using Fukuoka Airport of changes to the operation start times for the automatic baggage drop machines, self-service check-in terminals (KIOSKs), and manned check-in counters.
