Thai Airways International would like to inform customers using Fukuoka Airport of changes to the operation start times for the automatic baggage drop machines, self-service check-in terminals (KIOSKs), and manned check-in counters.

To alleviate congestion at the airport, customers who are eligible to use the automatic baggage drop machines are encouraged to do so.

● Operation Start Date
From 26 October 2025

● Start Time for Automatic Baggage Drop Machines and KIOSKs
Available from 5 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.

● Start Time for Manned Check-in Counters
Available from 2 hours and 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Note: Payments at the airport (e.g., for excess baggage fees, upgrades, or new ticket issuance) are accepted by credit card only. Cash payments will not be accepted. Thank you for your understanding.

● Customers Eligible to Use the Automatic Baggage Drop Machines
Customers who have checked in online via the Thai Airways International website or mobile app (THAI MOBILE), or those who have used self-service check-in (KIOSK check-in), and are checking in baggage within the free baggage allowance.

*The following customers are not eligible to use the automatic baggage drop machines. Please proceed to a manned check-in counter:

1. Baggage that incurs excess baggage charges
2. Customers who require assistance
3. Customers whose travel documents or travel conditions need to be verified
4. Customers holding separate connecting flight tickets
5. Customers with baggage that cannot be handled by the machines:
   • Dangerous items (e.g., lithium batteries, e-cigarettes)
   • Sports equipment (e.g., golf clubs, surfboards, skis)
   • Musical instruments (e.g., guitars, keyboards, drums)
   • Wheelchairs, strollers, umbrellas, tripods, pet carriers
   • Baggage exceeding 1000mm × 550mm × 700mm
