THAI Reports Operational Performance Results for the Second Quarter of 2026
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) reported the operating results for the second quarter of 2026, recording total revenues (excluding one-time items) of 48,621 million Baht, an increase of 3,793 million Baht, or 8.5%, from the same period of last year. The increase was primarily driven by a 20.3% year-on-year rise in average passenger yield (including fuel and insurance surcharge, excluding excess baggage revenue), following THAI’s review of its fuel surcharges to align with prevailing jet fuel price trends, as well as competitive market conditions.
Updated baggage procedure for connections to Yangon (RGN) via Bangkok
Effective immediately, Thai Airways has updated the baggage handling procedure for passengers connecting onward to Yangon (RGN) via Bangkok (BKK), due to operational weight and capacity restrictions on the BKK–RGN sector. Passengers travelling within their standard Free Baggage Allowance are handled as normal, with baggage checked through to Yangon (RGN). For any baggage exceeding the Free Baggage Allowance, such baggage will be checked through to Bangkok (BKK) only. Affected passengers must collect their baggage at BKK and re-check it in at the Thai Airways counter. Advance purchase of excess baggage for this connection is not available, including through travel agents or online booking. Excess baggage may only be purchased at the check-in counter at BKK on the day of travel, up to a maximum of 100 kg per passenger, subject to available capacity on each flight. Baggage exceeding this limit cannot be accepted as checked baggage and must be shipped via Cargo. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate our passengers' understanding as we work to ensure safe and reliable operations on this route.

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) reported the operating results for the first quarter of 2026, recording total revenue, excluding one-time items, of 51,029 million baht, a decrease from the same period last year of 596 million baht or 1.2%.
THAI Reports Operational Performance Results for the Year Ended 31 December 2025
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) and its subsidiaries reported operational performance results for the year ended 31 December 2025, with total revenues excluding onetime items of 190,277 million baht, representing an increase of 1.2% from 2024 and accounting for 103.4% of the 2019 pre-COVID-19. The growth was mainly driven by passenger revenue, which expanded by 0.5%.
In 2025, expenses excluding one-time items totaled 149,438 million baht, increasing 2.0% from 2024 in line with higher production and/or traffic volumes, including increased flight frequencies and passenger numbers. This was despite lower jet fuel expenses following a decline in the average fuel price. As a result, THAI and its subsidiaries recorded EBIT (excluding one-off items) of 40,839 million baht, a decrease of 676 million baht from the previous year, while EBITDA amounted to 53,880 million baht.

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) and its subsidiaries reported their financial results for the third quarter of 2025, recording total revenue (excluding one-time items) of 44,398 million baht, and a decrease of 1,430 million baht from the same period last year, which reported total revenue of Baht 45,828 million baht, a decline of 3.1%. The lower revenue was primarily driven by intensified market competition and the appreciation of the Thai baht. THAI carried a total of 3.89 million passengers during the quarter, with the cabin factor improving from 76.1% in the same period last year to 76.8%. Total expenses (excluding one-time items) amounted to 35,841 million baht, representing a decrease of 7.2% compared to the prior year.
