All Royal Silk Class seats feature a number of reclining positions. On most intercontinental flights on A380, A350 and new models of B787 and B777 aircraft your seat reclines to a lie flat bed. A personal seat-mattressand duvet blanket are provided for a truly restful sleep on lie flat bedson most long haul flights. On most regional flights of shorter flight duration Royal Silk Class cabins on aircraft in use, the seat recline is a comfortable 160 to 170 degrees providing ample rest and relaxation.

Whilst other aircrafts offer angled seating typically between 160-170 degrees, on THAI's Airbus A380s and newly modelled Boeing 777s and 787s, the chair can transform to 180-degree fully flat beds. Additionally, the spacious seats on all routes are customizable enabling you to select your optimum balance of head, back, leg angle and lumber support.
